- 4 small pears halved and cored
- 1 cup of part skimmed ricotta cheese
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Place the halved pears onto a baking sheet and bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes or until the flesh is tender.
In a small bowl mix together the ricotta cheese and cinnamon to make a smooth creamy filling. Spoon a little of the mixture onto each pear half while still warm and serve.
This is a quick and very easy dessert to make on short notice. A dusting of confectioner’s sugar is great for presentation.
